La Maddalena
Punta Tegge
About 500 metres from Le Muse Residence, you can easily reach the Punta Tegge area.
Punta Tegge is known for its small beaches of light-coloured sand with shallow waters, ideal for children, its natural pools formed by smooth granite rocks, and the famous flat rocky shoreline—perfect for snorkeling and breathtaking sunsets. It is also easily accessible for people with disabilities, thanks to a walkway that extends all the way to the sea and the presence of the SEATRAC service, which allows easy and safe access into the water.
On site you’ll find one of the historic venues of the archipelago, “Zi Antò” Bar, offering refreshments for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, dance evenings and live music events are regularly organized.
Tegge is undoubtedly one of the liveliest and most evocative places in the entire La Maddalena archipelago.
Cala Francese
Cala Francese is a small, sheltered beach that’s easy to reach and located just a short distance from the town center. From Via Padule – Borgo Punta Tegge, Cala Francese can be reached in about 5 minutes by car.Simply follow the signs toward La Maddalena town center and continue toward the sea. The beach is also easily accessible on foot or by bicycle and is one of the most convenient options for guests staying in the area.
Cala Spalmatore
Spacious and beautifully exposed, Cala Spalmatore is one of the most well-known beaches on the island of La Maddalena. Bassa Trinità

Monti D’Arena
A ten-meter-high dune, resembling a soft and brilliant white hill, welcomes you at Monti d’Arena. From its left slope, the stretch of sand gently descends into crystal-clear waters shimmering in shades of blue and emerald green. The name comes from this distinctive “mountain” of fine, pale sand, surrounded by dense Mediterranean scrub. The seabed is shallow and sandy, making it perfect for a relaxing swim.

Testa del Polpo is located on the island of Caprera and can be reached in 15–20 minutes by car from the Residence. After crossing the bridge, simply follow the signs for the beaches of Caprera. From the parking area, the coves and rocky shoreline are easily accessible.

How to get there from the Residence
From the Residence, Caprera can be reached by crossing the bridge toward the island. In about 15 minutes by car you can reach the parking area, from where a short walking path through the Mediterranean scrub leads to the cove. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Cala Coticcio
Cala Coticcio, often referred to as the “Tahiti of Sardinia,” is one of the most iconic gems of the Archipelago. The beach is nestled among granite rocks and Mediterranean scrub, with light-colored sand and turquoise waters featuring Caribbean-like hues. Access is regulated to preserve its natural integrity, making the experience even more exclusive and immersive.
How to get there from the Residence
Cala Coticcio is located about 20 minutes by car.After reaching Caprera, access is via a guided or accompanied trail,as required by the regulations of the National Park. The route requires a minimum level of preparation, but the beauty of the place more than rewards the walk.
Spiaggia del Relitto
It has a crescent shape, set within a charming bay surrounded by lush Mediterranean greenery. The dazzling white sand almost glows in contrast with the vibrant shades of the sea — emerald green, deep blue, and turquoise. Just a few steps from the shore lies the “host” of the beach: the skeleton of a motor-sailer that ran aground in 1955. For years, the Blue Flag has flown here, awarded for the clarity of its waters and its environmental sustainability. The surrounding landscape is wild and unspoiled, enclosed by rugged yet protective rocky cliffs. The sea is crystal clear, with a sandy seabed that is shallow near the shoreline and then gently deepens as it stretches out to open water. Just a few meters away, you will find the beach bar and restaurant “Il Relitto.”

Due Mari
It is called this because in this area the sea lies on both sides of the road that crosses the beach, which therefore has two distinct names.
The actual Spiaggia dei Due Mari is the smaller one, characterized by a narrow strip of amber-colored sand with a few rocks. The sea here is shallow with a mostly sandy seabed.
Cala Portese, on the other hand, refers to the larger beach located just behind it. It features a wide stretch of fine, compact white sand, surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and washed by crystal-clear waters with a shallow, sandy seabed that shifts beautifully between emerald green and shades of blue. It feels like a stunning natural pool — peaceful and immersed in the greenery that frames this large and captivating cove.

Simply follow the signs for Caprera and continue toward Cala Coticcio; Spiaggia dei Due Mari is located just before it and is clearly signposted. The beach is easily accessible and offers parking areas nearby.

Its distinguished name is no coincidence: in the past, the “Hero of Two Worlds” used to moor his boats here, at a pier that can still be visited today.
It is a beach of fine golden sand, with crystal-clear, transparent waters and a gently sloping seabed that forms small natural pools among the rocks, making the cove especially popular with families and children. A location that offers fairytale-like scenery, it is loved by snorkeling enthusiasts, spearfishers, and windsurfers alike.
